Thanx. Agreed. Washington was the man and many of our traditions and policies can be traced back to him. Greatest President? He’s at the top. Without him, there probably would not be any other presidents…at least not too many.

George Washington has always been my favorite president and role model for leadership. Too bad our present leaders can’t hold a candle to him. Lack of statesmanship is one of our present problems in Washington. If you compare the men of Washington’s Day with our present lot, you would quickly notice how immature our men actually are, and how far from our long-past ideals. BTW, you have a great blog.
